BE WARNED that they ended support for the Android and IOS version of the app, SO YOU WILL LOSE ALL YOUR DATA IF YOU RELY ON THIS APP! (they moved some stuff to Klarna app, but also lost some cards along the way). The update is deceptive, just to get you on to a version that will force you on to Klarna.

This was a simple app that did exactly what I needed it to. Now it wants me to sign up for Klarna and give them my phone number. No thanks. I found SuperCards instead

The app has been sold. So when you open it you are unable to access your card details. Why are any updates permitted by Apple???? This was a good app but now it’s completely worthless. The new app that migrated all the cards is horrible such a major disappoint !!! —————————— Per the landing page of Stocard once opened: “Your cards are in the Klarna app. The Stocard app is no longer available. Your cards and all of Stocard's features have moved to Klarna” ——————————— Per the Stocard FAQ’s “Can I keep using Stocard? No, the Stocard app will be shut down and you will need to use the Klarna app for storing and displaying your loyalty cards.” ——————————— What is the value for pushing out updates to a dead app? The App Store should prohibit any further updates for this Apo and remove it from the App Store!!!

I was forced to move my cards and move to klarna but the app is still getting updated? For what ? Who can still use it? Can i go back? And deleting and reinstalling does not work as it leaves some information in the device

The description for the latest update belies what the update is about. The app used to be a nice anonymous and convenient spot for me to file my cards, and the apps update description insinuates that. But that’s no longer the case. Now it wants me to create an account, giving them an email address and phone number. Well poo on you. No, I do not want to go to the Klarna app, I don’t want to create “another” account. Storing the loyalty/rewards cards in Stocard like I used to be able to was excellent. Some bozo in the app design team or marketing team has ruined it. Unless it gets changed. Goodbye, forever.

Good app, but the new one does not support my country for registration. Should allowed to register via email.

How exactly is this app receiving "updates" if everything has "moved to Klarna"?

I love Stocard, but I will never use Klarna, so please do not use it because it does you no good. You have to have your number and I’m not gonna use my number and you don’t have the cards that you used to have so I will be deleting Stocard off my phone and I will not use the Klarna… not until they bring Stocard back. The developers that decided to take away Stocard, yall are whack!!!!

You tried to force me to move to a new app. Blocked my access to my own cards. For anyone else putting up with this pathetic behavior, just know you can turn your system clock back. Turn it back to like, sometime in 2024. Congrats to Klarna for ending up on my corporate ban list today! You bacteria weren’t even the first or the largest today. You guys are like E-Coli, you know that? You spread, infect, do harm, and contribute nothing. I will never do business with you ever. If I find a company I have a positive opinion is owned by you, I will instantly cut ties. Absolutely worthless.

This app was perfect for years then they were taken over by Klarma. Now it wants all your private info and your cell number! Zero customer support. Not sure how this is even still offered as Stocard. Get any other app for card storage. Do NOT get this one. So disappointing. I’m moving to Supercards.

Klarna bought stocard, and disabled this app if you use klarna. Which killed the watch app for storing cards, and means U have to have a good internet connection and deal with having to login to klarna to use a loyalty card. This is really, really annoying, and I hate it,

I think they have announced since about a year ago that they are shutting down the app, and began to force you to the new whatever app by not letting you open this app at all. But i just realized that this app is still getting updates as of Jan 9 2025? Excuse me? is this a discrimination against the US customers?

They have moved all my cards to Klarna, but Klarna has no widget and makes cards very hard to get to quickly. I had to delete this app since it says it doesn’t exact. I have no idea why it’s still avails in the App Store or why they keep updating it.

I have been using this app for many years. Recently, they discontinued it and now asked me to move to Kalrna, which is not as great as Stocard for managing loyalty cards. We need Stocard back.

Since Oct 20, 2024, I have contacted Klarna about the disappearance of my data after Stocard’s integration. Each support interaction yields no response, requiring repeated follow-ups with no resolution. This is identity theft!! I have received no updates or follow-ups regarding my issue. I have formally filed a complaint about the system and mishandling of data. If no response or resolution is provided, I will escalate this issue by filing with the Fed, BBB, FTC, CFPB, and my state's AG.

Stocard was absorbed by Klarna which is a whole different environment. They, Klarna wants you completely in their ecosystem, and forces the migration from Stocard to Klarna. Have deleted Stocard and Klarna and went with another App that is somewhat the same as Stocard was.

Klarna has taken over. Switched to Barcodes instead.

This app has been discontinued and directs you to another app. Very misleading

Stocard was great - put all your cards in, load it up and bring up a card real quick when in line. Fast, simple, did that one thing great. They sold out to Klarna who, as you can see from the many other one-star reviews, has a much more intrusive and bulky process. Totally not what any of us want! But now we can’t even get our cards out of Stocard - it pops up with a screen insisting we migrate to Klarna. So if we can’t access our data, and we can’t do anything with the app except download another app, why is it still here in the App Store??

Locked all of my cards behind needing to sign up for Klarna. I don’t want Klarna and can’t retrieve my cards. Truly awful business practices.

Switching to supercard now. Can't believe the last min surprise mandatory Klarna migration

Although it still updates, Stocard has been discontinued, and they force you to migrate to something called Klarna. Klarna is really invasive, they are trying to force you to shop and pay via that app. DO NOT fall for that.

App sold to Klarna, no option to export stored cards for use elsewhere. Klarna requires a personal cell phone number to create an account. Privacy violation.

Full screen banner that app is shutting down, annoyingly comes up after tapping on anything. They want you to migrate to a new app, which requires your phone number. Wouldn’t accept my number, so goodbye and good riddance!

They sold out to a scam company named Klarna. Klarna’s only purpose seems to be to collect as much personal data as possible to resell and to see how much money they can scam from you. If you just want to save your loyalty cards on your phone use another app or just take photos or screenshots of your cards and save them in a photo album named “Loyalty Cards”. The photos work fine and nobody’s collecting your data except the company issuing the loyalty card.

If you don't want to transfer to the new ownership, you have no access to cards you used in Stocards. Horrible way to treat long time customers.

Once was good but now requiring a Klarna account and your phone number. Why would I want to give that information to some random company?

Hey I think it’s fine if you want to sell your app. But holding my data hostage is not acceptable. Everyone who is in this situation should scroll down and report a privacy concern to Apple. I use stocard because it was local storage of my library and membership cards on my phone. Now to get my data back I have to create an account and give personal information. The way this transition was handled is awful. Klarna will never get an account from me and I’ll never use it. All you’re doing is making enemies and ruining your garbage company name.

App was great. I loved it on my watch and phone until they sold to Klarna, which is a credit company. Now they want me to convert all my data to this credit companies app.

I’m another ticked off person due to the Klarna move. It won’t let me use my google voice number, they want my real mobile number to set up account. I don’t want to give it to you!!! This was a bad move and you’ve now created a lot of negativity with your brand. Good luck with that.

After downloading this app, it just redirects you to the Klarno app. The description of the app update from two weeks ago does not mention this, and it is not clear from the App Store info. Why is this being hidden?

No longer works after the Klarna integration

Klarna is holding my rewards cards hostage. I’d like to at least take screenshots of the cards I have in Stocard to use in another app. Klarna is requiring me to create an account just to access my cards, which I refuse to do. Screw you, Klarna.

Klarna apparently bought Stocard, shut it down before its announced closure date and won’t let me see my cards without a phone number! This is ILLEGAL. I will be reporting this to my attorney general. KLARNA RETURN OUR CARDS.

Klarna is now forcing me to log in, despite all of my data being local. I’ve lost access to all of my cards. Annoying.

I can’t view the cards stored on my phone unless I create a login and migrate them. At least let those of us that don’t want an account the ability to get the card images by export.

It’s sad to see just an incredible app sell out their customer’s privacy. This was by far the best app for storing all your loyalty cards and being able to access them quickly and easily on your phone or watch now the focus is selling you junk you don’t want and exploiting your private data.

App stopped working and I am forced to create an account on Klarna which I don’t want. I can’t see any if my stored cards if i don’t want to move. That’s blackmailing

Open up Stocard today to find out it's been moved to klarma and supposedly all my cards moved with it ... .. guess what all are gone.. thanks Stocard 🙄

Been using this app for years and suddenly i lost access to all my cards thanks klarna never better faster

Stocard used to be great. After they joined Klarma the new app is terrible. None of my rewards cards transferred to the new app. I keep getting new update for Stocard in Apple Store but it says I can only use Klarma. We need a rewards care app , not an app that wants my credit card to use.
